Warehouse Manager (m/w/d) in Oberhausen

Your mission

  • Provide technical and organizational leadership to the warehouse and logistics team.
  • Ensure the efficient flow of incoming and outgoing goods.
  • Coordinate and supervise order picking, packing, and shipping operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks and physical inventory counts.
  • Ensure a high level of inventory accuracy and continuously improve warehouse processes.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, occupational health and safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and shipping deadlines.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve warehouse and shipping discrepancies.
  • Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Sales, Service, and external logistics providers.
  • Support the continuous improvement of warehouse and logistics processes.
  • Train, coach, and develop warehouse employees.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide regular feedback to team members.

Your profile

  • Successfully completed vocational training or a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, or a comparable field.
  • Several years of professional experience in warehouse or logistics management.
  • Proven leadership experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience in inventory management and maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.
  • Good knowledge of occupational health & safety regulations and warehouse compliance requirements.
  • Valid forklift certification.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership capabilities, and a collaborative mindset.
