- Development and implementation of functional safety concepts and architectures for wheel loader systems in accordance with ISO 26262, ISO 13849 or IEC 61508.
- Analysis of safety requirements and their implementation throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Conducting hazard and risk analyses (HARA), FMEA, and FTA.
- Definition of safety goals, technical safety requirements, and safety functions in collaboration with system, software, and hardware teams.
- Preparation of safety documentation and support during certification and homologation processes.
- Close cooperation with international development teams (especially China) and external service providers.
- Internal training and support of colleagues on safety-related topics.
- Participation in prototype testing and validation with focus on functional safety aspects.

- Completed technical studies (e.g. electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics)
- Several years of experience in functional safety in the field of mobile machines or automotive
- Sound knowledge of relevant standards (ISO 26262, ISO 13849, IEC 61508)
- Experience with safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA, HARA)
- Business fluent in written and spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
- Independent and structured way of working, high sense of responsibility
- Willingness to travel internationally
- Experience in safety assessments and audits
- Fluent in German and English
