Electrical Control Designer (m/f/x) – Tower Cranes

Your mission

Support in product planning, market research, and technical requirement definition
Design and development of electrical control systems for tower cranes
Research and development of core technologies and electrical components
Benchmarking and improvement of system adaptability and performance
Creation of concepts, circuit diagrams, and technical documentation
Validation and optimization of existing control solutions
Collaboration with international development teams, including coordination with customers and suppliers

Your profile

More than 5 years of experience in the design of electrical control systems for tower cranes
Ideally with background at companies like Potain, Liebherr, or Terex
In-depth knowledge of EU technical regulations and national industry standards (e.g., DE, FR, IT)
Proven ability to independently develop, improve, and implement control system designs
Proficient in tools such as PROE, CAD, and Microsoft Office
Strong communication and presentation skills; team-oriented and solution-driven
Willingness to work in cross-cultural, international development environments
Fluent in technical and business English
Additional language skills are a plus; German helpful but not required

Unterstützung bei Produktplanung, Marktanalyse und Definition technischer Anforderungen
Entwicklung und Konstruktion elektrischer Steuerungssysteme für Turmdrehkrane
Forschung und Entwicklung zu Kerntechnologien und elektrischen Komponenten
Benchmarking sowie Verbesserung der Systemkompatibilität und -effizienz
Erstellung von Konzepten, Schaltplänen und technischen Dokumentationen
Validierung und Optimierung bestehender Steuerungslösungen
Zusammenarbeit mit internationalen Entwicklungsteams, inklusive Kunden- und Lieferantenabstimmung

Kenntnisse und Fähigkeiten

Mehr als 5 Jahre Berufserfahrung in der Entwicklung elektrischer Steuerungssysteme für Turmdrehkrane
Idealerweise Erfahrung bei Unternehmen wie Potain, Liebherr oder Terex
Fundierte Kenntnisse der EU-Normen und nationaler Industriestandards (z. B. DE, FR, IT)
Fähigkeit zur eigenständigen Entwicklung, Optimierung und Umsetzung von Steuerungssystemen
Sicherer Umgang mit Software-Tools wie PROE, CAD und MS Office
Kommunikations- und Präsentationsstärke sowie Teamfähigkeit
Bereitschaft zur Arbeit in interkulturellen, internationalen Teams
Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse in Technik und Wirtschaft
Weitere Sprachkenntnisse von Vorteil; Deutschkenntnisse hilfreich, aber nicht zwingend erforderlich
